UNLOCK

UNLOCK is a dance training programme committed to creating new pathways into the dance sector, serving those from disadvantaged and rural backgrounds in Devon.

We have carefully designed a training programme that looks at what skills are required for the dancers of today, how dance educators can nurture autonomy driven ways of learning that allow dancers to feel a sense of ownership in what they produce in the studio and a mentoring programme that provides opportunity for reflection.
Contemporary Dance, Ballet and Physical Development for beginner, training and graduate dancers, with additional workshops in other styles and skills.

Our Patrons

Carrie Taylor Johnson.

"I'm delighted to support UNLOCK as it begins it's journey. The programme holds an important vision, to make high-quality dance training more accessible and to nurture both the technical and psychological development of young dancers. It's exciting to see such thoughtful ideas emerging from within the next generation of dance leaders, and I look forward to seeing how the programme continues to evolve."
